    You should see Charlie Fish!
    The 2008 derby will bring back Charlie the Chimp as the fisherchimp to beat, courtesy The Primate Sanctuary/Carmen Presti of Niagara Falls. Presti is  an avid outdoorsman himself, and is always quick to assist in this event. A small portion of each registration will be earmarked for The Primate Sanctuary in an effort to raise the level of awareness for this important project, while at the same time assist with some much-needed funding. Charlie's challenges to beat will be: salmon - 20 pounds; bass - four pounds; walleye - seven pounds; trout - 9 pounds; carp - 15 pounds; panfish - one pound.

    WILDLIFE FESTIVAL 2008
    The New York Power Authority [NYPA] in conjunction with the Niagara County Federation of Conservation [NCFCC]  Clubs, bring you the Wildlife Festival  each year at the NYPA grounds, Lewiston Road, Lewiston NY. A great Family function for the young & old. Demonstrations & all kinds of displays pertaining to the great outdoors. From live monkeys courtesy of the Primate Sanctuary, eagles, real fishing for the kids, bird trapping, food vendors and all this is FREE! Including FREE parking & handicap parking too.
    Attendance at this Annual Festival usually tops 20,000 visitors

    This is all on September 27th & 28th. at the NYPA Grounds
